Special Seminars

Sunday, November 11th, 2007: Family TKD Plus extends a heartfelt "Thank You" to Grandmasters Joe Souza, Ramiro Estalilla, Jr. and Professors Vinton Koklich and Dan Lovas for coming to our school and sharing their knowledge of the martial arts. This intensive, six-hour clinic was well received, and we look forward to hosting more of these events in the future.

Saturday, May 5th 2007: Professor Wade Williams

Family Taekwondo Plus is proud to annouce a seminar with renowned Serrada Escrima stickfighting instructor, Professor Wade Williams! Professor Williams' seminar for kids begins at 9:00AM and ends at 10:30AM. The adult seminar will begin at 11:00 AM and run until roughly 2:00PM.

A practitioner of Cabales Serrada Escrima (started 1985 with Guro Mariano Bermodes, and then introduced to Grandmaster Angel Cabales) and under his tutelage graduated to advance instructor and after continued study, was awarded a masters degree in December 1987 by GM Cabales. Prof. Williams has recently been promoted to Associate Professor by the board of advisors of the PMAA (Professional Martial Arts Alliance).

Wednesday, February 28th, 2007: Kyoshi Patrick Kelly

Kyoshi Kelly has studied martial arts for over 30 years, and has been teaching since 1981. He opened his Elk Grove academy in 1986. He has been travelling the U.S. teaching seminars for the last ten years, and has become renowned as one of the top Kosho Shorei Ryu Kempo practitioners.
